Summary

This Phase 2 trial tests a single oral dose of LY4515100 against a placebo in 212 people with moderate-to-severe pain after having their wisdom teeth removed. The goal is to see if the drug safely reduces pain intensity and how quickly it works. Participants stay in a research unit for about 6 weeks after surgery.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

LY4515100

What this could lead to

If it works, this could provide a new, fast-acting painkiller for short-term pain after dental surgery.

What could go wrong

This is an early Phase 2 trial with only 212 people, so results may not apply to everyone. The drug is compared to placebo, and its safety and effectiveness are still unproven.
