First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested two different pain relief medicines given through a small tube near the spine after video-assisted lung surgery. 90 adults took part to see if adding sufentanil to ropivacaine reduces pain better than ropivacaine alone. The main goal was to measure how much morphine patients needed in the first 48 hours after surgery.
