First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a long-acting numbing medicine (bupivacaine liposome) can provide better pain relief after lung surgery compared to standard numbing medicine. About 496 adults having a lung lobe removed will receive a nerve block before surgery. The goal is to reduce pain and improve recovery quality in the first few days after the operation.
