Summary
This study tests whether a new form of the anti-inflammatory drug dexamethasone (called dexamethasone palmitate) can prevent moderate-to-severe pain after surgery better than the standard version. About 446 adults having various surgeries will receive the drug before their operation. The goal is to reduce pain and the need for opioid painkillers.
