Back pain breakthrough? education plus adjustments may put you in control
NCT ID NCT07639216
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether teaching people about how pain works (pain neuroscience education) combined with spinal manipulation helps those with chronic low back pain feel more in control of their health. 74 adults with long-lasting back pain will be split into two groups: one gets both education and spinal adjustments, the other gets adjustments alone. The goal is to see if the combined approach shifts their belief from relying on others to managing pain themselves.
