NCT ID NCT07262944
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a special nerve block (EOI block) can reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers in teenagers having ear reconstruction surgery using rib cartilage. Sixty participants aged 13 to 18 will be randomly assigned to receive either the nerve block or standard care. The main goal is to see if the block lowers total opioid use in the first 24 hours after surgery.
