First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study aims to find the most effective dose of morphine given into the spinal fluid to control pain after a C-section. Researchers will test different doses in 100 healthy women having planned C-sections, adjusting the dose based on each woman's pain relief. The goal is to achieve at least 12 hours of good pain control (pain score 3 or less out of 10) while minimizing side effects.
