New study aims to find best pain relief for lung surgery patients

Summary

This study compares two pain-blocking techniques after minimally invasive lung surgery. One is done by an anesthesiologist using ultrasound, the other by a surgeon during the operation. The goal is to see which method reduces pain and the need for painkillers in the first 24 hours after surgery. 72 adults having lung surgery will take part.
