New study aims to find best pain relief after keyhole lung surgery

Summary
This study compares two pain-blocking techniques used after minimally invasive lung surgery (VATS). One method is done by an anesthesiologist using ultrasound, the other by a surgeon during the operation. The goal is to see which approach reduces pain and the need for painkillers in the first 24 hours after surgery. About 72 adults having elective lung surgery will take part.
