Summary
This study tested two different ultrasound-guided pain blocks—modified thoracolumbar interfascial plane block and erector spinae plane block—to see which helps patients recover better after lumbar spine surgery. Sixty-four adults scheduled for elective lower back surgery took part. The goal was to improve early quality of recovery by reducing pain and side effects from general anesthesia.
