First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested two different ultrasound-guided nerve blocks to see which one helps people recover better right after lower back surgery. 64 adults having planned lumbar spine surgery received either a modified thoracolumbar interfascial plane block or an erector spinae plane block. The main goal was to measure their quality of recovery 24 hours after surgery using a special questionnaire.
