Summary

This study tested two ultrasound-guided nerve blocks to control pain in children aged 7 to 17 after iliac bone graft surgery for jaw repair. Forty children received either a transversus abdominis plane block or a transversalis fascia plane block. The goal was to see which method reduces opioid use and pain scores in the first 24 hours after surgery.
