First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested two types of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks for pain control after open kidney surgery. 70 adults received either a subtransverse interligamentary block or a thoracic paravertebral block with bupivacaine. Researchers measured how much morphine patients needed and how long pain relief lasted.
