New pain block may cut opioid use after back surgery

Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks to manage pain after single-level lumbar disc surgery. About 70 adults aged 18-70 will receive either a Quadro-iliac plane block or a classical thoracolumbar interfascial plane block. The goal is to see which block reduces opioid painkiller use and pain intensity more effectively.
