First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at two ways to stop bleeding in the stomach that doesn't stop after the first treatment. One method uses a special clip placed during a scope exam, and the other uses a procedure that blocks the bleeding blood vessel. About 236 adults with this type of bleeding will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments to see which works better.
