First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tested whether a fixed-dose combination of etoricoxib and diacerein works better than another combination (meloxicam and diacerein) for reducing pain in adults with knee or hip osteoarthritis. 123 participants took the assigned drug daily for 60 days and reported their pain levels and any side effects. The goal was to see if the new combination provides meaningful pain relief and is safe.
