Summary
This study looked at whether antioxidants in orange juice can help the body respond better to insulin. Overweight but otherwise healthy women drank either orange juice or a similar-tasting drink every day for three months. Researchers measured insulin sensitivity, cholesterol, and fat tissue changes to see if the juice made a difference.
