Summary
This study tests a combined approach for emergency breathing tube insertion in adults outside the hospital. The strategy includes a muscle relaxant (rocuronium), mask ventilation before intubation, and a special guide (gum elastic bougie). Researchers will compare complication rates in 1,500 patients to see if this method reduces severe events like cardiac arrest or low oxygen.
