Scientists Fine-Tune radioactive drug dosing for prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT06700057

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how much radiation reaches tumors and healthy organs during a treatment called 177Lu-PSMA-617 for advanced prostate cancer that has spread. Researchers want to see if the radiation dose can predict how well the treatment works and what side effects might occur. About 50 adults with a specific type of prostate cancer will be observed using special scans after each treatment session.
