Can corneal transplant patients ditch steroids after one year?

Summary
This study tests a gentler steroid eye drop plan after corneal transplant surgery to see if it prevents rejection with fewer side effects. About 342 adults getting a DMEK transplant will be randomly assigned to different steroid schedules. The goal is to find a cost-effective way to protect the new cornea while reducing eye pressure problems and possibly allowing patients to stop steroids after one year.
