First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone-based game can improve how teens and their parents understand the risks of opioid misuse. About 244 parent-teen pairs will be recruited from the emergency department after the parent gets an opioid prescription. Participants will play the game and complete surveys over 9 months to see if their knowledge and attitudes improve compared to standard counseling alone.
