Summary
This pilot study will use special PET scans to measure opioid receptor binding in the brain, spinal cord, and other organs in up to 60 adults, including healthy volunteers and people with opioid use disorder. The goal is to better understand how opioids affect the whole body, not just the brain. Participants may receive a medication that blocks opioid receptors to see how binding changes.
