NCT ID NCT07489001

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether avoiding opioids during back surgery can still control pain and reduce side effects like nausea and constipation. About 75 adults having elective lumbar spine surgery will be placed into one of three groups based on their anesthesia plan. The goal is to see if opioid-free methods work just as well or better than traditional opioid-based anesthesia.
