NCT ID NCT05597878

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether a combination of non-opioid medicines (ketamine, ketorolac, and acetaminophen) can control pain after robotic prostatectomy as well as standard opioid painkillers. Men aged 40-75 with prostate cancer were randomly assigned to receive either opioids or the opioid-free regimen. The goal was to see if the opioid-free approach provides adequate pain relief without the risks of opioid use.
