Summary
This study uses brain scans to see if patterns of brain activity can predict whether someone recovering from opioid addiction will relapse. Researchers will follow 240 adults who recently started medication treatment (methadone or buprenorphine) for six months. The goal is to better understand the brain's role in addiction, not to test a new treatment.
