Can an app help teens take control of their diabetes?
NCT ID NCT05910840
Summary
This study is testing whether an online training and peer support platform can help teenagers with type 1 diabetes better manage their health as they prepare to move from pediatric to adult healthcare. Researchers will compare the online platform plus usual care against usual care alone in 200 teens aged 14-16. They will measure blood sugar control, emergency visits, and how teens feel about managing their diabetes over 18 months.
