Singing online lifts new Moms' spirits, study finds

NCT ID NCT04857593

Summary

This study tested whether weekly online group singing sessions could help reduce symptoms of postnatal depression in new mothers. Thirty-seven mothers with depression joined a 6-week program of virtual singing classes with their babies. Researchers measured changes in depression, stress, and mother-baby bonding to see if this accessible, online approach could provide meaningful support.
