First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested a treatment for people with locally advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. It combined standard chemotherapy with an injection of tiny radioactive particles (OncoSil) directly into the tumor using an endoscope. The goal was to see if this approach is safe and can shrink the tumor enough to allow surgery. Only 2 people enrolled before the study was stopped early.
