First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested a new device (OMNYPULSE catheter with TRUPULSE generator) to treat paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, a type of irregular heartbeat. 188 participants received the procedure to isolate the lung veins. The study measured safety (side effects within 7 days) and effectiveness (stopping abnormal signals). Results help show if this system is a safe and effective option for managing AFib.
