First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding omeprazole (a common heartburn drug) to chemotherapy (cabazitaxel or docetaxel) can help control advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to standard treatments. About 50 men with castration-resistant prostate cancer that progressed after docetaxel will participate. The goal is to see if omeprazole makes the chemo work better by blocking a protein that cancer cells use to grow.
