Summary
This study looks at whether genetic differences influence how omega-3 fatty acids (found in fish oil) affect heart disease risk factors like cholesterol and blood pressure. About 200 healthy adults aged 18-50 with overweight or obesity will take omega-3 supplements and have their blood lipids, blood pressure, and gene activity measured. The goal is to understand why some people may benefit more from omega-3s than others.
