Summary
This study looked at how safe and effective the antibiotic omadacycline is for treating moderate to severe diabetic foot infections, including bone infections, in hospitalized adults. Researchers compared 42 patients who received omadacycline to a similar group who got standard antibiotics. The goal was to see if omadacycline could reduce the risk of kidney damage and C. diff infections.
