First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This phase 2 trial tests a combination of two drugs, olomorasib and pembrolizumab, as a first treatment for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a KRAS G12C mutation and a PD-L1 score between 1% and 49%. The main goal is to see how long patients live without their cancer getting worse. About 60 participants will receive the drugs, and researchers will also track tumor shrinkage, side effects, and survival.

What this could lead to
If it works, this combination could offer a new first-line treatment option for people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer, potentially helping them live longer without their cancer worsening.
What could go wrong
This is an early phase 2 trial with only 60 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The combination may cause side effects or not work better than existing treatments.
