Summary
This pilot study tests a peer-led program designed to help Black Veterans at high risk for lung cancer get screened. Veterans who have not yet had lung cancer screening will receive group orientations and one-on-one support from a peer to navigate the process. The study aims to see if this community-based approach is feasible and acceptable, and whether it increases screening uptake and tobacco treatment use.
