Kitchen lessons may keep prediabetes at bay

Summary

This study looks at whether adding hands-on nutrition demonstrations to the standard Diabetes Prevention Program helps people at risk for prediabetes stay engaged. About 20 adults in Los Angeles will take part. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable, not to test a new drug or cure.
