Can better nutrition speed recovery after hip fractures in seniors?
NCT ID NCT05971173
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether a comprehensive nutrition and bone health program could help older adults recover better after hip fracture surgery. Researchers worked with 40 patients aged 65-89 to see if this approach could reduce complications, prevent future fractures, and improve strength and quality of life. The goal was to gather early evidence on whether this type of support could make recovery safer and more effective.
