Smart shoe tracks Parkinson's gait and may help with walking

NCT ID NCT06975059

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is testing a special shoe called NUSHU that has sensors to measure how people with Parkinson's disease walk and keep their balance. The shoe can also give small vibrations to possibly help with walking problems. Researchers will compare results from people with early, moderate, and advanced Parkinson's, as well as healthy volunteers, to see if the shoe is comfortable and easy to use.
