Summary

This study tested a program of psychological interventions for mental health issues in people with Parkinson's. The program was designed for three stages: adjusting to diagnosis, managing anxiety or depression, and coping with advanced symptoms. 138 participants received the treatment, which was delivered by non-specialist health professionals. The goal was to improve quality of life and reduce healthcare costs.
