Sugar check breakthrough: could a simple test predict pregnancy complications?
NCT ID NCT04979312
First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether regularly checking blood sugar levels without needles during early pregnancy can help predict two common problems: gestational diabetes and preeclampsia (high blood pressure). About 100 pregnant women at risk for these conditions will use a non-invasive monitor. The goal is to see if this easy method can spot trouble early, so doctors can step in sooner.
