First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether a mix of nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oxygen can reduce pain during in-office bladder Botox injections for overactive bladder. About 96 adult women will either receive the gas or a placebo mask alongside standard numbing medication. Researchers will measure pain, anxiety, and satisfaction to see if the gas helps.
