New nerve surgery aims to restore feeling after mastectomy
NCT ID NCT06153836
Summary
This study is testing whether a special nerve graft surgery can restore nipple sensation for breast cancer patients having a nipple-sparing mastectomy. Researchers want to see if patients are willing to join a study comparing standard surgery to surgery with the nerve graft. They will measure quality of life, sexual function, and actual nipple sensation one year after surgery.
