Cancer breakthrough? new drug challenges standard treatment in major trial
NCT ID NCT07222800
Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called PF-08634404, when combined with standard chemotherapy, works better than the current standard treatment (bevacizumab plus chemotherapy) for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread. The trial will involve 800 adults who haven't yet received treatment for their metastatic cancer. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug combination or the standard treatment, and neither they nor their doctors will know which one they're getting.
