String-Attached pill camera aims for clearer colon pictures without sedation

Summary
This study is testing a new, low-cost tool to take pictures inside the lower intestines. The tool is a tiny capsule, about the size of a vitamin pill, attached to a thin string. Doctors will gently guide the capsule up the colon in awake participants to see if it can capture clear images to help spot signs of disease.
