Nerve-Freeze injection tested to halt prostate cancer spread

NCT ID NCT07100847

Summary

This study is testing whether blocking the nerves around the prostate can slow or stop the spread of prostate cancer in men with high-risk disease. Researchers will compare one versus two injections of a nerve-blocking agent (ethanol) to see which is more effective at reducing nerves in the prostate. The goal is to see if this approach can delay cancer progression before patients undergo surgical removal of the prostate.
