What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
NeoMayor smartphone app and wearable activity tracker
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a practical, scalable way for older adults to improve heart health through lifestyle changes.
What could go wrong
This is a relatively small, early-stage trial (240 participants) testing a behavioral app, so results may not apply broadly. Success depends on participants sticking with the app, which can be challenging.
