First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing a bone cement called Neocement Inject P in 80 adults who need bone defect repair during orthopedic surgery. The goal is to see how well it helps bones heal and whether it causes any side effects in real-world use. Participants will be followed with X-rays or CT scans and quality-of-life questionnaires.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- Neocement® Inject P (a bone cement used to fill bone defects during orthopedic surgery)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this study could provide evidence that Neocement Inject P is a safe and effective option for repairing bone defects after surgery or injury.
- What could go wrong
- This is an observational study, not a controlled trial, so results may be less conclusive. The device is already in use, so this study mainly confirms real-world performance rather than proving a new breakthrough.
