First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study follows 400 people aged 12 and older who have or are at risk for noncirrhotic portal hypertension (NCPH), a liver condition that raises blood pressure in the liver without scarring. Researchers will monitor participants with regular check-ups, scans, and tests over many years to learn how the disease progresses. The goal is to gather information, not to test a treatment, so there is no direct benefit to participants.
