Summary
This study looks at using both a nail and a plate to fix certain hip fractures where the side wall of the bone is weak. About 17 adults with these fractures will get the combined surgery and be followed for 6 months to see how well the bone heals and if any problems occur. The goal is to find a better way to prevent the bone from collapsing and needing another surgery.
