Summary

This trial tests whether an ultrasound-guided nerve block or an intravenous painkiller provides better pain relief when positioning patients with a broken femur for spinal anesthesia. Moving the leg into the correct position can be very painful. The study includes 64 adults aged 18 to 60 scheduled for femur surgery. Pain levels are measured before and during positioning to see which method works best.
