NCT ID NCT06332677

First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether blocking two proteins, SUV420H1 and SUV420H2, in liver cells can protect against nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Researchers will test this in mice on a fatty diet, analyze human genetic data from large health databases, and try a new approach using antisense molecules in lab-grown human liver tissue. The goal is to find new treatment targets for a disease that affects millions worldwide.
