First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether listening to music three times a day for a week before colon cancer surgery could lower patients' anxiety. 116 adults took part. The music group's anxiety levels were compared to a control group using a standard questionnaire. The goal was to see if a simple, drug-free approach could help patients feel calmer before their operation.
