First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at muscle stem cells from people with muscle loss due to cancer or aging, plus healthy older adults. Researchers took a tiny muscle sample and blood to see if the cells could grow and make new muscle. The goal was to find out if these cells are good enough for future treatments using a person's own cells.
